Info
Dennis Greaves and Mark Feltham, the founding members of Nine Below Zero, started making music and playing live together in South East London back in 1977. Marking 50 years of creating and playing UK rhythm and blues, Nine Below Zero will embark on a European tour in 2027, with guests joining them on stage, including Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, Zac Shulze, blues pianist Ben Waters, guitarist Robbie McIntosh and long-standing co-performers Dr Feelgood.
Nine Below Zero released their debut LP Live at the Marquee in 1980. The band kept the momentum going with Don't Point Your Finger in 1981 before releasing their third LP on A&M Records, Third Degree (1982), with the front cover image shot by photographer David Bailey. Since 1988 they have released a further 20 LPs, and Mark Feltham has also been selected as harmonica player by a range of acts including Oasis, Annie Lennox, Talk Talk and Rory Gallagher.
Nine Below Zero toured with The Who and The Kinks in 1980/81 and also appeared on The Old Grey Whistle Test, The South Bank Show and a cameo performance on the comedy series The Young Ones.
