If a handful of names is enough to tell the whole history of music, Bob Dylan is one of them. Born Robert Allen Zimmerman, he first made his mark in the early 1960s in Greenwich Village clubs, before becoming one of the most recognizable voices in American folk. An elusive singer-songwriter, he has traversed the decades, blurring the lines between meticulous writing, electric turns, and songs that have become standards.
From The Times They Are A-Changin’ to Blonde on Blonde, Dylan has built a body of work that speaks as much about America as about those who listen to it, carried by a unique way of expressing the world. Always on the road, he turns each of his concerts into a moment apart, where songs shed their skins and reinvent themselves.
