Bob Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, remains one of the central figures of American folk music since his beginnings in the Greenwich Village clubs, spotted very early by Joan Baez. A singer-songwriter with narrative, razor-sharp lyricism, he has traversed the decades by continually pushing the boundaries, between folk, rock and blues, with his own distinctive way of making words sound.
From The Times They Are A-Changin’ to Blonde on Blonde, Dylan has piled up the records that accompanied the era while shaking it up, and built his legend on the road, through endless tours. His career has also been celebrated beyond music, from the Songwriters Hall of Fame to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not forgetting the biopic I’m Not There.
He will be performing in London, at the Royal Festival Hall, on 8 December 2026.
