A group formed in 1997 in Val-d’Oise, Sniper quickly established itself as a benchmark in French rap, driven by a direct, unflinching writing style and a genuine attention to daily life in the housing estates, to social critique and to emotions. With From Laughter to Tears (2001), then Gravé dans la roche (Carved in Stone) (2003) and Trait pour trait (Line by Line) (2006), Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj established a signature: precise storytelling, punchlines that land, and this way of being both raw and meticulously crafted.
On March 25, 2027, Sniper returns to the stage in a duo format with Aketo and Tunisiano at Le Silo in Marseille. The idea is clear: go back to the basics without pretence, reignite the classics that defined a generation, but also open a new chapter with unreleased tracks. A more mature Sniper, focused on authenticity, energy, and consistently engaged lyrics, without getting lost in nostalgia.
