Info
On February 27, 2027, Pomme performs at Le Silo in Marseille around La forteresse, her fifth album, which she signs this time as sole artistic director. On stage, she remains surrounded by her fellow female musicians, for a concert conceived as a journey, between intimacy and more orchestrated surges.
La forteresse is the image of a refuge that protects as much as it confines. The album drew its nourishment from her period of work on Peau d’homme, in which she embodied Blanche, and from a parallel writing, like a double journal. The narrative unfolds in chapters, with a creature half-human, half-bat that ends up crossing the wall: a through-line that leaves ample room for interpretation.
Musically, Pomme maintains this blend of organic and synthetic, between folk pieces close to piano-and-voice and richer arrangements. She addresses, without hesitation, solitude, weariness, the milestone of turning thirty, ecological anxiety, and the ways of loving today.
