Blossoms head to the Utilita Arena Birmingham on 4 December 2026 with their English-style indie pop, blending sharp guitars, upfront keyboards, and instantly catchy choruses. Formed in Stockport, the band of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock has built its trajectory album by album, from Blossoms to Gary, via Cool Like You, Foolish Loving Spaces, and Ribbon Around the Bomb. On stage, they move between indie rock, synth-pop and subtle new wave touches, with a penchant for direct melodies and an energy tailored for both large venues and festivals.
As the opener, The Royston Club brings its tense, melodic indie rock, born in Wrexham around a group of friends. Tight riffs, upfront songwriting, pop tension: the quartet drew early notice with Coasting before following up with Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars and then Songs for the Spine. A set that leans into urgency and collective singing, perfect to kick off the night.
