On October 23, 2026, Twin Atlantic will play SWG3 Glasgow with their distinctive blend of alternative rock, emo pop, and indie rock, tailored for choruses that stick and guitars that bite. Formed in Glasgow in 2007, the band first drew attention with A Guidance from Colour and Vivarium, before forging their path on albums such as Free, Great Divide, and GLA, where melodic efficiency remains central.
Over the years, Twin Atlantic has broadened their scope: a more expansive approach to songwriting, a bolder sound, sometimes threaded with more modern textures and an almost club-like energy, as on Power and Transparency. Meltdown (2024) pushes the needle further with more abrasive guitars, without losing that immediacy. On stage, it still rests on the dynamic between Sam McTrusty and Ross McNae, backed by Joe Lazarus on drums, for a set designed as much for singing along as for withstanding the live energy.
