Bleech 9:3 play Cyprus Avenue, Cork, on 17 December 2026. Between Dublin, where the project took shape, and Brixton, where it settled, the band has sharpened an alt-rock sound that pairs clean melodic lines with thick, saturated guitars. Built around songwriters Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, with James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums, the quartet leans on contrast and tension: restraint that flips into release, grit against clarity, a rhythm section holding the charge steady. On stage, they weave a visual, introspective thread into songs that look inward while driving forward, an approach fed by constant live work.

Early tracks like Ceiling and Jacky outlined the palette; support slots for Shame and Keo and a three-night residency at London’s Blue Basement have tightened the edges. What emerges is a direct, melodic set shaped by the live room and by a close-knit group dynamic, designed for impact without gloss, where detail and noise meet.
