Swedish gothic doom band Draconian can be mentioned alongside doom-oriented metal bands Candlemass, Paradise Lost, Katatonia and My Dying Bride. For over 30 years, Draconian's sound has remained close to its origins. The powerful growls of Anders Jacobsson and Lisa Johansson's melodic, atmospheric vocals are defining features. The band has released seven studio albums, marked by Beauty and the Beast-style vocal contrasts, pronounced accents and dark atmospheres.
