Gentleman’s Dub Club marks 20 years in the game with a proper anniversary show on November 20, 2026 at Electric Ballroom in London. Born out of the Leeds scene, the collective has spent two decades blurring the lines between dub, reggae, ska and 2-tone, with a modern edge that flirts with dubstep and dubtronica.
On stage, it’s built like a full live unit: vocals up front, a sharp brass section, keys, guitar, bass, drums and percussion locking into those heavy low-end lines and skanking rhythms. Expect tunes that move between melodic hooks and sound-system pressure, with that raw, sweaty band energy that made their name.
Across releases from the early EPs to albums like FOURtyFOUR, The Big Smoke, Dubtopia, Lost in Space and Down to Earth, they’ve kept the same focus: big bass, tight grooves, and choruses made to be shouted back. Special guests are also billed, so the night should land somewhere between a gig and a mini celebration of UK dub culture.
