Embrace mark three decades with a tour stop at O2 Guildhall, Southampton on 27 November 2026. Formed in West Yorkshire by brothers Danny and Richard McNamara with Steve Firth, Mike Heaton and Mickey Dale, the band emerged in the late-90s britpop and indie rock wave, blending melodic guitars, keyboards and a taut, clear vocal line. This 30-year show traces that path: early singles All You Good Good People, Fireworks and One Big Family; the arc of debut album The Good Will Out; the more restrained writing of Drawn from Memory and If You’ve Never Been. The mid-2000s period is here too, from Out of Nothing and Gravity to This New Day, before the later albums—Embrace (2014), Love Is a Basic Need (2018) and How to Be a Person Like Other People (2022)—round out the picture. On stage, the arrangements lean on post-britpop and pop rock dynamics, with space for keys and melodic lift. A career-spanning set built around songs that have carried the band across three decades.
