Info
The Lightning Seeds bring their “Greatest Hits Tour” to EngineRooms Southampton on November 6, 2027, with Ian Broudie fronting the band through a set built for people who grew up on sharp hooks and clean choruses. Started in late-80s Liverpool as Broudie’s largely solo studio project, The Lightning Seeds turned into a full live outfit in the 90s, sitting right where indie pop, Britpop and melodic alternative rock overlap.
Expect a run through the songs that shaped their run on the UK circuit, from the bright rush of The Life of Riley to other 90s staples like Change, Lucky You and Perfect, all driven by that mix of supple guitars and polished production. It’s also a chance to hear how the band’s sound kept shifting without losing its pop core, from the classic albums through later releases like Four Winds and See You in the Stars.
