Counting Crows

Counting Crows bring their storytelling rock to Bristol on 29 June 2026 at Bristol Beacon. Formed in the early 1990s in Berkeley around singer and songwriter Adam Duritz, the band blends alternative rock, folk rock and Americana, with melodic guitars, prominent piano and introspective lyrics. Their breakthrough came with August and Everything After and the single Mr. Jones, followed by Recovering the Satellites, This Desert Life and Hard Candy. The pop touch of Accidentally in Love for the Shrek 2 soundtrack widened their reach, before the contrasting moods of Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings and Somewhere Under Wonderland.

Live, Counting Crows give space to improvisation and variations, reshaping songs from night to night and leaning into organic arrangements that put Duritz’s voice at the center. Between hushed ballads and more electric passages, their set moves across decades of material with a focus on dynamics and detail, keeping each performance fluid without losing the core of the songs.
