On 17 June 2026 at Hampton Court Palace, Nile Rodgers & CHIC deliver a set built on precision grooves and sing-along hooks. Formed in 1976 by Rodgers and the late Bernard Edwards, the group shaped a lean disco-funk sound where guitar, bass and strings lock tight. The show draws on CHIC anthems — Le Freak, I Want Your Love, Good Times — and on songs Rodgers wrote or produced that the band now revisits live: We Are Family and Lost in Music for Sister Sledge, Upside Down and I’m Coming Out for Diana Ross, Like a Virgin for Madonna, Let’s Dance for David Bowie, and the more recent Get Lucky with Daft Punk. On stage, CHIC’s vocalists trade lines, the rhythm section stays crisp, and Rodgers’ guitar leads the charge for a night cut for dancing in the palace courtyard.
