El Mató a un Policía Motorizado performs on July 30, 2026 at Poble Espanyol in Barcelona. Hailing from La Plata, the group has carved its own path with indie rock driven by a krautrock pulse, saturated guitars and clear melodies. Their two most recent ventures, La Otra Dimensión (2019) and Unas vacaciones raras (Okupas soundtrack, 2021), solidified that identity and earned them, for the latter, the 2022 Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album. Lyrics that observe everyday life with restrained melancholy, hypnotic rhythms and an increasingly synthetic, post-punk streak have come to define their live trajectory.

They now arrive with Súper Terror, recorded at the Sonic Ranch studios in Texas, a turn that broadens their sound without losing its edge. Onstage, the quintet weaves layers of fuzz and straight bass lines with keyboards and repetitive patterns, building songs that grow by accumulation and culminate in concise choruses. The set spans phases: tracks from La síntesis O’Konor, pieces from Okupas and new material coexist in an order that underscores their evolution, from yesterday’s kraut pulse to today’s more synthetic, post-punk vein.
