The Inspector Cluzo

The two Gascon farmers of The Inspector Cluzo released their 10th LP, Less Is More, in June 2025 on their own label. Independent since their beginnings twenty years ago, their ethical approach is reflected both in their music and in the farm they run together in the Landes. This album, produced by their mentor Vance Powell (Jack White, The Raconteurs, Chris Stapleton), was recorded live in Nashville in four days and mixed in three. It develops themes dear to the environmentalist and naturalist Henry David Thoreau and to the post-growth movement.

Still self-produced by choice and refusing any deal with a record label or booking agent, the group continues to apply, both on the farm and in their music, a post-growth economy—both local and global—that they consider better suited to climate change. In concert on 21 November 2026 at 7:30 PM at Château Rouge. With more than 1,300 dates in 67 countries, they have been touring internationally for 20 years.
