An Evening with City and Colour (solo) / the way it used to be...

Info

An Evening with City and Colour (solo) / the way it used to be... brings Dallas Green back to the bare essentials. Under the City and Colour moniker, the Ontario singer-songwriter has built a catalogue that moves from quiet folk roots toward broader rock, country and blues tones. For this solo night, songs from across the years—Sometimes and Bring Me Your Love through Little Hell, The Hurry and the Harm, If I Should Go Before You, A Pill for Loneliness and The Love Still Held Me Near—are recast with just voice and guitar, close to how they were written.

Green’s tenor and unadorned melodies lead the way, giving space to the words and shifting dynamics without a full band. Familiar tracks find a new contour alongside quieter deep cuts and recent material shaped for a single microphone. City and Colour plays Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary on May 5, 2026.
