Fridayy

Fridayy brings his blend of contemporary R&B, melodic rap and gospel-tinged soul to MTELUS in Montréal on July 4, 2026. Raised in a Haitian family in Philadelphia, he first made noise behind the scenes as a producer and writer, recognized for sung hooks and introspective writing across the U.S. hip-hop landscape. The spotlight widened in 2022 with God Did by DJ Khaled alongside JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and John Legend, then with Lil Baby’s Forever. Since then, he’s balanced his own tracks and collaborations with artists like Chris Brown, Moneybagg Yo and Swedish House Mafia.

On stage, Fridayy leans into piano lines, slow tempos, soulful textures and trap-driven rhythms, keeping the voice and harmonies at the center. His self-titled 2023 album frames that approach, with songs positioned between R&B confession and contemporary rap. Live, he shifts from intimate ballads to heavier grooves, threading the melodic refrains that put him on the map with material that defines his current sound.
