DARKSIDE will be in residence at La Gaîté Lyrique on July 8 and 9, 2026. For the July 9, 2026 event at La Gaîté Lyrique, Paris, the trio of Dave Harrington, Nicolas Jaar and Tlacael Esparza returns to the format that defined them in autumn 2025 in Los Angeles: intimate concerts conceived as a playground, where pieces stretch, transform and answer one another.

On stage, Harrington weaves supple, textured guitars; Jaar moves between restrained vocals, electronic washes and minimalist motifs; while Esparza grounds the whole with organic percussion. The group draws on its entire repertoire, leaves room for improvisation and opens the door to collaborations, creating sets that evolve over the course of the evening without seeking gratuitous effects.

This Paris residency applies that principle across four concerts over two nights. After the 2025 series at the Lodge Room, where the trio tested this approach live, DARKSIDE returns to further explore the dialogue between a subtle pulse, nocturnal psychedelia and collective interplay. An opportunity to see them deploy their hybrid language up close at La Gaîté Lyrique on July 9, 2026.
