Info
Garbage and Skunk Anansie share the bill on 25 May 2026 at the Zénith de Paris in La Villette. Two acts from the 1990s alternative rock scene come together for a joint bill, mixing classics and recent material.
Originally from Madison and formed in 1994, Garbage brings together producers Butch Vig, Steve Marker and Duke Erikson around Shirley Manson’s voice. Their hybrid signature blends alternative rock, electronic textures and sharp songwriting. From the albums Garbage and Version 2.0 to the James Bond theme “The World Is Not Enough,” the band has carved out a distinctive sonic terrain, now extended by Let All That We Imagine Be The Light.
Also formed in 1994 in London, Skunk Anansie stands out thanks to Skin and a mix of alternative rock, punk and metal. Paranoid & Sunburnt, Stoosh and Post Orgasmic Chill established a taut yet melodic repertoire, with landmark tracks like “Weak” and “Hedonism.” Driven by political and social lyrics, the quartet continues both on record and on stage, with a seventh album, The Painful Truth, released in 2025.
