Rise of the Northstar « Nerve Tour »

On 24 September 2026, Le 106 in Rouen will host Rise of the Northstar for the Nerve Tour. Born in the Paris suburbs, ROTN blends metal, hardcore, rap and manga imagery into a crossover designed for live performance. For more than ten years they have carved out their path independently, with three EPs and three albums to their name.

Sharp thrash riffs, heavy groove and a chanted flow make for a direct songwriting approach, supported by an immediately recognisable shonen aesthetic. Familiar tracks include Here Comes The Boom, Again and Again and Showdown — from the album released in April 2023 — which swing between emphatic mosh sections and punchy choruses.

Having worked in Joe Duplantier’s (Gojira) studio to hone their arsenal, they put their faith in collective impact and rhythmic precision. At Le 106, expect a tight, no‑frills set where attitude and Parisian pride drive the charge. Meticulous breakdowns, in‑your‑face energy and manga references will link the stage to the pit.
