Laurent Gerra se met à table

On 10 November 2027 at the Zénith in Lille, Laurent Gerra takes to the stage with a new show that cooks current events in his own way. An impressionist and satirist, he strings together portraits and sketches that lampoon politicians, singers and well-known figures from television and cinema without restraint. Between sketches and songs he switches voices with precision, moving from one timbre to another, and peppers his numbers with nods to popular culture. In this cabaret-style revue everyone gets their turn, as do the fads of the moment. The idea: to serve up a lively chronicle of our times, seasoned just enough to sting but flexible enough to surprise. You find his taste for pastiche, his tightly honed texts and that energy that can move from a laugh of recognition to a barbed caricature in the blink of an eye.
