Laurent Gerra se met à table

Laurent Gerra, comedian and impressionist, arrives in Bordeaux with his new show Laurent Gerra Takes a Seat at the Table. At the Théâtre Femina on March 24, 2027, he presents a revue drawn from current events in which politicians, singers and headline figures from television and cinema are put under the microscope. With his gallery of finely honed voices and his verbal flair, he strings together sketches and sung numbers, between satire, pastiche and nods to popular culture.

Gerra brings out his favorite characters, invents new ones, and explores the full spectrum of imitation: vocal timbres, speech tics, media postures. The times supply his raw material, which he reworks in his own way: soundbites, frenzies, catchphrases—nothing is left out. The tone is biting, the writing sharp, the pace sustained, with a taste for parody songs that runs through his work.
