Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine « Des Adieux »

On 4 December 2026 at the Parc des expositions – Destination Angers in Angers, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine presents Des Adieux, a tour that closes out more than five decades of songs. An unclassifiable singer‑songwriter, he has, since the 1970s, traced a singular line between French chanson, folk‑rock, blues and electric rock, with lyrics written by himself and nourished by oblique images, irony and literary references. From Left Bank cabarets to the rock stage, his albums have laid down solid landmarks, from Tout corps vivant branché sur le secteur étant appelé à s’émouvoir to Géographie du vide, via Soleil cherche futur, Alambic / Sortie Sud, Chroniques bluesymentales and Suppléments de mensonge.

On stage, Thiéfaine alternates between electric tension and more acoustic respites. With Des Adieux he offers a journey through his 18 studio albums, bringing together emblematic songs and pieces from all periods. It is an opportunity to hear his austere poetry, his chiaroscuro humor, and his way of creating a rock sound free of unnecessary effects, always in the service of the songs.
