The Minds Of 99

The Minds Of 99 land at Royal Arena Copenhagen on 27 March 2026 with a set shaped by their blend of post-punk tension, new wave tones and alternative pop sung in Danish. Formed in Copenhagen in the early 2010s, the quintet—Niels Brandt (vocals), Asger Wissing (bass), Anders Folke Larsen (keys), Louis Clausen (drums) and Jakob Bechmann (guitar)—first drew attention after winning the Danish contest KarriereKanonen in 2013.

Since their self-titled debut in 2014, the band has moved from raw, direct songwriting toward more open structures. Liber (2015) kept the rhythmic drive while leaning into pop forms. Solkongen (2018) widened the palette with melodic guitars and layered synths, and Infinity Action (2021) introduced brighter textures without losing the backbone that defines their sound.

On stage, The Minds Of 99 centre the expressive delivery of Niels Brandt, bass lines that carry the groove and synths that at times brush against electronic pop, all anchored in a North European rock tradition. The show aims for collective interplay and sharp dynamics, shifting from tight grooves to broader, atmospheric passages that highlight the evolution of their catalogue in a live setting.
