The Minds Of 99 take over Parken in Copenhagen on June 18, 2027 with the distinctive blend of post-punk, new wave and alternative pop that has made them one of the bands people most want to see live. The Copenhagen-based quintet sings in Danish, and on stage the focus is on the collective drive: Niels Brandt's vocal leading from the front, basslines that push the song forward, the edge of the guitar and synths that widen the sonic landscape without pulling the band away from their rock roots.
Since the early 2010s, they have refined their expression from the raw energy of their debut toward more pop-oriented structures and bigger, fuller arrangements on their subsequent releases. Live, these become songs with direct lyrics, tight rhythms and choruses built for shared shouting in a large space. In Parken, the frame for the evening is set for both the hard edges and the more melodic sides to stand side by side.
