On August 7, 2026, RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto hosts the All the Feelings Tour, bringing together Metric, Broken Social Scene and Stars for a shared snapshot of Canadian indie.
Metric grew out of Toronto at the turn of the 2000s, led by Emily Haines and James Shaw, with Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott-Key locking the rhythm section. Their sound balances synths and sharp guitars with direct, melodic songwriting. From Fantasies and Synthetica to the twin releases Formentera and Formentera II, they keep refining the tension between electronic textures and rock drive on stage.
Broken Social Scene is the Toronto collective anchored by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning, a flexible lineup that expands and contracts with the project. After the ambient leaning Feel Good Lost, You Forgot It in People set a song-focused path they’ve followed through their self-titled album and Hug of Thunder, mixing dense guitars, brass, strings and a rotating cast of voices, often intersecting with members of Metric and Stars.
Stars, formed in Toronto and later based in Montreal, revolves around the alternating vocals of Torquil Campbell and Amy Millan. Their indie pop folds chamber arrangements and synth-pop glow into intimate, narrative songs. Set Yourself on Fire and In Our Bedroom After the War shaped their approach, carried forward on From Capelton Hill.
