Thursday, April 23, 2026, Le Makeda (103 rue Ferrari, 13005 Marseille) hosts Flox. For more than twenty years, the Franco‑British artist has blurred the boundaries between roots reggae, electro, dub and neo‑soul. Seven albums and tours across Europe have shaped a precise songwriting in which the reggae pulse meets machines. Supple basslines, electronic pads, clear vocals and a subtle groove: Flox assembles textures that give his tracks a warm, contemporary tone, situated between sound‑system culture and a strong sense of melody.

X‑STICK brings together Sir Jean and Yako, a drummer who has played with Dawamesk, D‑FAZ and Slamouraï. With nearly thirty years on stage, Sir Jean lays his voice over Yako’s nervous patterns and electronic textures: an organic and digital live set, situated between dub, bass music and rock tension. Tight rhythms, heavy bass, vocals up front: the duo puts together direct tracks that rely on energy and chemistry, crafted for the close atmosphere of clubs.
