Info
Molotov crosses the Atlantic with the same charged mix that put them on the map in the late 90s. Formed in Mexico City by Tito Fuentes, Miky Huidobro, Paco Ayala and Randy Ebright, the band blends rap, alternative rock, funk and metal into tight grooves, thick basslines and bilingual vocals. Their 1997 breakthrough ¿Dónde jugarán las niñas? set the template: crunchy guitars, call-and-response flows, and lyrics that swing between Spanish and English. Apocalypshit sharpened the political edge, Dance and Dense Denso pushed the rhythmic punch, while Con todo respeto bent rock and Latin standards into their own shape. Eternamiente stitched together ideas born separately by each member, and the live Desde Rusia con amor captured years of constant touring before the studio return Agua maldita.
On February 27, 2026, Molotov hits MTELUS in Montréal. The set dives into themes of corruption, border identities and power structures without losing the bounce. Expect code-switching vocals, breaks that snap into heavy riffs and a catalogue built for collective release, delivered by a band that treats groove and grit as two sides of the same coin.
