Info
Archive plays Salle Métropole Lausanne on 4 April 2026. The London collective founded by Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths cultivates a musical approach at the crossroads of trip-hop, post‑rock and electronic music, with a taste for extended formats and cinematic atmospheres. From the early days of Londinium and its spoken‑word pieces to the rockier turns of You All Look the Same to Me, through the abundant architectures of Controlling Crowds and the textures of Call to Arms & Angels, the band has continually shifted its lines.
Over the years several voices have added colour to the songs: Craig Walker, Dave Pen, Pollard Berrier, Maria Q, Holly Martin… On stage, Archive assembles downtempo pulses, dense guitars and synth layers, lets the tension build and plays on contrasts to give the themes room to breathe. In Lausanne the band offers a journey through its repertoire, blending recent tracks and standout pieces, with reworked arrangements and transitions that extend the sonic material. A concert conceived for those who have followed the band since its early metamorphoses as well as for curious listeners drawn to hybrid music.
