On 26 February 2027 at Le Silo in Marseille, Dany Boon returns to the stage with Clown n’est pas un métier. After seven years away from performing, the comedian and actor reprises the one-man show that launched his career. This new chapter questions the label “clown,” the profession of comedian and the role of laughter, weaving together memories of his beginnings, behind-the-scenes anecdotes from film shoots and everyday life. The show presents characters vividly sketched on the fly, lines that hit the mark and that Northern way of speaking that surfaces when he gets carried away. Dany Boon moves from confidences to sketches, alternating short stories and longer set pieces, and establishes an unadorned, natural rhythm. He relies on the writing, his voice and his acting, with a direct connection to the audience. Clown n’est pas un métier marks the return of a stand-up performer on tour, conceived for the stage and, for one night, for Marseille at Le Silo.
