Les Chants de Mars celebrates its 20th anniversary and will be hosted at La Marquise Lyon on 22 March 2026 for an evening focused on two voices of the contemporary francophone scene: Mauvaise Bouche and Fleur sous Bitume. It’s a date that brings together two modes of writing, two ways of inhabiting song, in the intimacy of a houseboat that has become a musical landmark.
Mauvaise Bouche is a French singer who places language at the forefront. Her songs are written in French, in a clear and direct style, driven by a voice that guides the tempo as much as the meaning. On stage, she presents a repertoire conceived for live performance, with precise phrasing, immediate melodies and a presence that puts the lyrics at the center.
Fleur sous Bitume moves forward with the same attention to words. Behind this name is a French project that shapes a repertoire in French, unadorned and straightforward, where the voice traces a clean line.
