Mandy, Indiana arrives at Petit Bain in Paris on April 9, 2026 to present URGH, a new chapter that continues and expands the trajectory opened with i’ve seen a way (2023). An Anglo‑French noise‑rock band, the lineup brings together Valentine Caulfield on vocals, Scott Fair on guitar and production, Simon Catling on keyboards and Alex Macdougall on drums. All contribute to the writing, producing a sound that plays on contrasts between mechanical pulses, abrasive guitars, menacing synths and sudden silences.

URGH condenses a language specific to the band—repetitive and confrontational—conceived as a mantra of self‑determination. Caulfield’s lyrics, mostly in French, traverse aggression, systemic indifference and diffuse pain. Her voice is used as an instrument, sometimes distorted, sliding from whisper to cry. The track “Magazine” illustrates this tension, alternating calms and outbursts, and laying down sharp phrases that cut through the air. In concert, Mandy, Indiana emphasize dynamics and the immediacy of the moment, chaining hypnotic motifs and ruptures to deliver a set where intensity and emotional clarity take precedence over spectacle.
