L.E.J, the French trio, arrives at La Coopérative de Mai in Clermont-Ferrand on April 24, 2026 with S’aimer c’est une galère, an album that opens a new chapter. More personal and raw, this entirely self-produced record was conceived with six hands, without detour, and features a hybrid sound in which R&B, French chanson and French touch intertwine. The vocal harmonies that are the group’s hallmark are laid over contemporary textures and a subtly honed groove.

On production, Christopher Colesse, aka C.Cole (Waxx’s collaborator in Fanzine), supports the trio, privileging clarity and efficiency without smoothing out the identity of the tracks. Around them, close collaborators help complete the whole: Chilla and Nemir add their timbres and songwriting, extending the album’s energy.

On stage, L.E.J bring together these new pieces and their shared story: interwoven voices, cello at the heart of the arrangements, delicate percussion and refined rhythms.
