Didier Super

Didier Super is back in rock mode. After putting the electric guitar aside for shows that were more spoken and intentionally sharp, he decided to reform a band and hit the road with a tight lineup. Guitar to the fore, acidic lyrics, and a biting sense of humour: he reweaves the thread of his satirical songs, between punk-tinged energy and deceptively innocent refrains. He returns with his musicians and three female singers, for backing vocals that shake things up and a stage presence that opts for rupture rather than posing. On the bill: cheeky numbers, chronicles of everyday life, and interludes where he pushes logic to the point of absurdity, all unfiltered over a tight, straight-ahead rhythm. Didier Super embraces controlled derailment, balancing cheeky banter and riffs, and assembling that mix of provocation and self-mockery that shapes his persona.
