Julien Clerc

Julien Clerc will be at Athanor in Montluçon on 27 September 2026 for a concert that spans more than fifty years of songwriting and melody. He first came to prominence in 1968 with 'La Cavalerie' and quickly followed with songs that became landmarks of French song: 'Ce n’est rien', 'Si on chantait', 'Ma préférence'. Between variété and pop, his melodic signature is recognizable from the first verse, with a voice that has accompanied several generations.

In 2026 he hits the road again and revisits an extensive repertoire, ranging from his signature songs to more recent material, around the themes that have always inspired him: love and life. It is also worth remembering that he was the first French artist to perform at the Palais Omnisports de Bercy, a major venue where he will celebrate his 80th birthday on 9 October 2027. In Montluçon, the essentials are there: a singer‑songwriter who has managed to evolve without losing that sense of melody that links yesterday and today.
