Benjamin Biolay returns to Cannes with a pared-down acoustic tour. An author, composer and performer, he cultivates a cinematic writing style, supple melodies and a recognisably deep voice. In this stripped-back configuration, guitar and piano take over from the usual orchestrations to let the lyrics and harmonies breathe. On stage he presents Disque bleu, released in autumn 2025, and journeys through his repertoire by drawing on different periods of his career, between French chanson and pop. The new songs adopt a more pared-down tone, while older pieces are reshaped by minimalist arrangements that serve the words and the melodic line. On 17 April 2026 at the Théâtre Claude Debussy in Cannes, he offers a set focused on interpretation, nuance and a direct connection with the audience.
