On December 3, 2026, at Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, Horace Andy will lend his unique voice to a set tailored for roots and dub enthusiasts. Born in Kingston under the name Horace Hinds, he has traversed the decades with a supple and immediately recognizable timbre, forged in the orbit of Studio One and carried by tracks that have become touchstones of Jamaican reggae such as Skylarking or Money Money. Many have discovered him elsewhere as well, when his voice slipped into Massive Attack's trip-hop textures, from Blue Lines to Heligoland, without ever losing his grounding.
For this Paris engagement, he surrounds himself with The Dub Asante Band, a group seasoned in deep bass, roots rhythms and dub textures. In support, the horns of Matic Horns densify the ensemble, weaving melodic lines with crisper accents. A live setup designed to give the songs room to breathe while pushing them toward more expansive versions, bridging Jamaican heritage and contemporary vibrations.
