Clinton Fearon returns to the stage with a project tailored for roots enthusiasts: revisiting the Gladiators' repertoire, the group in which he was for eighteen years one of its pillars, both on bass as well as in writing and singing. On June 11, 2027, at Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, he will reprise the tracks he co-wrote and carried at the time, between tight vocal harmonies and a firmly rooted reggae pulse.
One finds the spirit of the group's great tracks, from Chatty Chatty Mouth to Rich Man, including On The Other Side, Looks Is Deceiving, Stick A Bush or Jah Works, with that storytelling sense and that measured voice that mark his style. For the occasion, his band expands with a brass section, percussion and backing vocalists, in order to recapture the color and density of the original arrangements. A concert conceived as a return to the roots, faithful to the Gladiators' memory, but powered by the energy of a musician who is always on the move.
