On December 10, 2026, the RnB Winter Ball at bp pulse LIVE will showcase a fine slice of American R&B, spanning ballads, harmonies and choruses that stick with you.
Mario (Mario Barrett) arrives with a blend typical of the 2000s: a smooth voice, writing focused on mid-tempo tracks and ballads, and that constant link between contemporary soul and urban pop. From his beginnings at J Records to his more independent projects, he has kept that sense of melodic singing that has become his signature, carried by tracks that have become touchstones of the genre.
SWV, a New York trio, leans into tight harmonies and 90s R&B that moves between new jack swing, soul and hip-hop soul. Their repertoire alternates slow grooves, crisp refrains and grand ballads, with a very direct way of heightening emotion without overdoing it.
Jagged Edge, born in Atlanta, sits in the tradition of slow jams: four voices, plenty of harmonies, love-song stories and a radio-friendly efficiency that marked their era, alternating between smooth tracks and more rhythm-driven ones.
Finally, B2K brings back the early-2000s boy-band energy: pop R&B, ultra-melodic hooks and a performance-driven spirit, with choreography at the forefront.
