Born in Bamako and raised in the Île-de-France region, she has established herself with direct songwriting and a voice of her own, blending everyday phrases with blended, cross-cultural expressions. After Journal Intime, she continued through the successive stage names Nakamura, Aya, and then DNK, building a coherent universe made up of choruses that stick in the mind and a sense of rhythm tailored for the stage.
