On September 14, 2026 at La Cigale (Paris 18th arrondissement), Ayọ will celebrate her birthday onstage and mark the occasion with a lean, bare-bones format: a guitar, a voice, and that direct connection with the audience that has always sustained her songs. The idea here is to return to the essentials to retrace twenty years of her career without artifice, in the spirit of the early shows where everything rested on a few chords and a melody that sticks.
This concert also highlights the 20th anniversary of Joyful, her very first album, the one that established her with warm folk-soul and tracks that have become touchstones. Expect a set conceived as a celebration, intimate and vibrant, that gives pride of place to the early tracks as much as to the detours taken since.
