Julien Clerc returns to the stage on March 18, 2027 at the Arènes de Grand Paris Sud in Évry-Courcouronnes. More than fifty years after his debut, the singer and pianist continues to move forward with the same unmistakable signature: a voice instantly recognizable, melodies that go straight to the heart, and this distinctly personal blend of French chanson, pop, and meticulously crafted orchestration.
Revealed in the late 1960s with La Cavalerie, he followed with a string of titles that have become touchstones, from Ce n’est rien to Si on chantait, including Ma préférence. His repertoire has been shaped by collaborations with renowned authors, and it preserves this way of being romantic without overdoing it—precise in the words, elegant in the emotion. In 2027, he returns to defend these classics and some newer songs, with a live intensity that rests on interpretation and performance, rather than showmanship.
