On September 26, 2026, Ben l’Oncle Soul returns to the stage at Le Plan in Ris-Orangis with his own distinctive way of taking soul through all its moods. Emerging in 2010 from Tours, with a pronounced taste for vintage soul, he subsequently broadened the scope: a live show at the Zénith in Paris, a self-acknowledged detour via Sinatra, then a more personal turn with Addicted To You, where he takes back control of his production. With his label Enchanté, he moves at his own pace, prioritizing sound and collaborative work. Between the Jamaican detour Red Mango and the live spirit of Is It You?, Ben continues to navigate between groove, writing and freedom. His new album Sad Generation extends this dynamic, blending beatmaking with more upfront singing, propelled by a driving drum and a desire to start from scratch.
Opening act, Mike L’Inspi (Michael Njike) presents an intimate and direct universe, built around guitar, blending Cameroonian heritage with French-language songwriting. His music balances clarity, spirituality and the warmth of sharing, with a live presence that seeks connection rather than effect.
