Dea Matrona returns to the stage on February 28, 2027 at Debaser Nova in Stockholm, with this Belfast-born rock that grew outside the mainstream circuits. Formed in 2018 around Orlaith Forsythe and Mollie McGinn, the trio first drew attention with videos shot on the street, before turning track after track into something of their own, in complete independence.
Their debut full-length, For Your Sins (2024), gathers and extends this patient work, with songwriting at the core and energy designed for live performance. Since then, Dea Matrona has been touring in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe, maintaining that direct connection with their audience which has been their strength from the start. On stage, it’s tight playing, no posing, with a band cohesion that places equal emphasis on riffs as on harmonies and the collective dynamics.
