Bertrand Belin returns to the stage with Watt, his new album, continuing in the wake of Tambour Vision but with a tighter focus, more intimate. Always this hybrid pop that borrows from rock, jazz and blues, and this unmistakable way of making his words resonate: drifting consciousness, solitude that clings to the skin, the need to be connected to others. Written with almost novelistic care, the album was conceived with Thibault Frisoni: textures that move, discreet experiments, an undercurrent of coherence.
