Info
On July 10, 2027, Versengold will bring its Bremen roots back to the Seebühne Bremen. Since 2003, the collective has evolved from acoustically medieval-flavored folk to a direct, contemporary folk-rock, in which violin, acoustic guitars, and percussion propel the stories forward. Live, the narrative songs take center stage above all: at times intimate and ballad-like, at times with drive and tempo, always carried by lyrics about Nordic legends, the sea, landscapes, and the everyday life in between. Those who know Versengold know that the songs on stage tend to grow together—a band moment that is not only about singing along, but about joining in. As special guests, Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen are announced, bringing their rougher, seafaring folk-punk edge as a counterpoint.
