On April 16, 2027, VERSENGOLD will bring their 'Nacht der Balladen' back to the Metropol Theater Bremen, intentionally highlighting the quieter side of their folk-rock universe. Instead of large sing-along moments and high-energy setlists, that evening will foreground the stories behind the songs: lyrics that take their time, and melodies that, in calmer light, reveal new details. The band won’t simply play acoustic versions of well-known pieces, but will work with its own arrangements that give the repertoire different colors and reveal the in-between nuances. Carried by Malte Hoyers’ narrative vocal delivery and the typical Versengold blend of violin, acoustic guitars and percussion, the show will bring warmth, depth and dynamism. For the tour, the lineup will also be expanded: a string quartet, additional percussion and a guest singer will bring warmth, depth and dynamism—from intimate to expansive—without losing the focus on the songs.
