Info
Penelope Road arrives in Paris with the energy of a band that grew up on stage in Atlanta, before fast-forwarding onto the national scene. This quintet crafts indie rock nourished by soul and funk, where groove leads the way: supple guitars, keyboards that are clearly present, a tight rhythm section and vocal harmonies that give depth to the choruses. On stage, the approach is collective, closer to a band that plays together than to a project centered on a single frontman. Between 70s references and today's pop songwriting, their songs alternate melodic builds and more rhythmic passages, crafted for the live show. Join us on May 9, 2027 at La Boule Noire to discover this warm yet taut sound, at the crossroads of rock, soul and pop.
