On 27 November 2026, Kingfishr brings his Limerick-born folk-indie to the Trabendo in Paris. Formed at university around the singer-guitarist Eddie Keogh and the trio McGoo and Fitz, the group champions melodic, guitar-forward songs, halfway between contemporary folk and alternative rock, with just the right touch of indie-pop in the choruses. On stage, it relies on tight vocal harmonies, a foreground acoustic, a discreet but solid rhythm section, and crescendos that unfold gradually before they open wide. The concert will be an opportunity to revisit the spirit of their early tracks revealed online, and the color established by singles such as Flowers-Fire or Anyway: songs driven by writing, between landscapes, family stories and coming of age, without overproduction or detours. A set designed for proximity, where emotion arises from the group and the singing, more than from showmanship.
